Over the next few weeks, I will continue to model different types of reading responses. The students will have opportunities to practice them in class. This way, they will know what is expected when they are assigned as homework.
In Etudes Sociales, we are continuing our look at Canada. We will review the provinces and capitals in class and there will be a test this Friday (if I feel they are ready) or next Monday.

Unfortunately, this blog will not be in use until further notice.

14 - 18 septembre

Bienvenue and welcome to the 4e EFI blog for the 2015-2016 school year. My goal for this blog is to keep you better informed about what we are working on in school.
Last week, we settled back into the school routine. This week we welcome Mr. Kevin Taylor, a student teacher from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Education. He will be with us every Wednesday until December.
As long as the weather stays nice, we will try to have a mix of indoor and outdoor Gym classes. In Etudes Sociales, we are beginning to learn about Canada's provinces and territories.
Homework. Yes it is time to get back to Devoirs. This week, the students are expected to read 20 minutes every evening and record what they read in their Carnet de Lecture. This is a bright orange doutang that I'm sending home on Monday. Please sign it and send it back to school on Thursday.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to put a note in the Agenda.
Have a good week.
